What goes into the construction of our print devices? And how do the materials and design make our print devices and consumables as sustainable as they can be today?

Our latest range of multifunction printers (MFPs), assembled using 100% renewable energy, sets a new standard for eco-conscious production. The mainframe, now made from 50% recycled plastic, is an industry-leading, tenfold improvement compared to previous models, significantly reducing waste.

The new range uses 50% less energy in sleep mode, making it more energy-efficient than previous models and competitors. This statistic is important in the reduction of day-to-day energy consumption, as office devices spend most of their time in sleep mode.

We have halved the use of plastic packaging for our new devices—a move set to continue across future products, further minimising environmental impact. Additionally, our PET toner bottles are manufactured from 100% recycled plastic, contributing to a circular economy.

The range also features a new, high-efficiency toner that fuses at 14°C lower than before, cutting down energy consumption without compromising performance. This innovation aligns with our broader goal of helping our customers reduce their carbon footprint and save money through lower energy bills.

Earning the prestigious Blue Angel certification, our latest MFPs meet the stringent environmental standards set by the German Federal Government. As a trusted ecolabel for over 45 years, the Blue Angel highlights the range as an exemplary choice for environmentally responsible purchasing.
