A Word From Our Moderator – Paul Mason

As the teams responsible for investing and implementing new processes and technologies, Finance and Operations professionals struggle with cost-benefit analysis. Only through sourcing reliable metrics will these teams make successful and valuable investments to support employees and encourage productivity.

The message I hope CEOs take from this report is to probe deeper into the mythologies and folklores revolving around the new practice of home working.

They need to put assumptions behind them and instead inform their decisions with metrics and research, both quantitative and qualitative. Doing so will unburden the finance and operations professionals and unite them with other leaders from around the business.
